yup.. finally visited Nashik... the much awaited destination... not for anything else, but for the vineyards and the wines....
it was a one day trip... nd we set out for Nashik in a Ford Ikon... (one of the cars i always wanted to buy as a kid... no longer though !) - the Josh Machine. And it did pump in some josh for me.... the car, the destination, the beautiful scenic roads... and the wine ! did i miss somethin ? uh, ah... the factory visit :) .....
we had a factory visit lined up for the day but most of us were waiting for the SULA vineyard visit... so finally we managed to get there... it was an amazing place and the place directly overlooked a big yard where these grapes were grown and surrounded by mountains and a serene lake on one side.... the Sun was about to set... and we started having wines... it was pure bliss... some of the wines were really good... and learning and understanding wines was never so much fun... the two ladies with us didnt want to wait there and were giving us cold looks.... but couldn't help it.. they had no choice... finally they too gave up and joined for the wine-tasting .... and yah, needless to say, we all had a lot of fun...
we bought some wines to take them back home... and cherished them for two or three more occasions later...
wines, cheese, exotic flutes, and soft music... ..... candle lights anyone ???
